Clare Stevens and Anne Goodwin: Event Description

Are you drawn to, or repelled by lockdown literature? Some readers lap it up, others prefer not to be reminded of those times. Likewise, some authors saw Covid 19 as a unique opportunity to document a once-in-a-lifetime event, others felt it was a period best forgotten. Local authors Anne Goodwin and Clare Stevens explore some of the universal themes, positive and negative, of fiction set in or inspired by the Covid-19 pandemic, drawing on work by a range of international authors and their own novels ‘Heartsound’ and ‘Lyrics for the Loved Ones’.
