The Sprawl is a creative platform born out of a love of classic zines, run as a fully DIY, not-for-profit operation.
At its core, the magazine is an exchange of ideas, showcasing the underreported artistic scenes from the Midlands and beyond.

The zine is a collective entity, aiming to cut out the gatekeepers, bridge the gap between artists and audience and shine a brighter light on those the mainstream has kept locked out.
We are not here to facilitate reviews or work as advertising driven media, that is not the purpose.
The Sprawl is a seasonal, in-print and online magazine, connecting music, live events, poetry, film, and art from the underground up.
We’re anti-violence, anti-racist, and pro-creative.
