Fiona's book Count Our Blessings short stories and poems of identity and hope. Linday states how writing has helped her with ‘difficult and important issues over the last two decades’ and this is something that writing can do for us all—it is cathartic, it helps to heal, it allows us to make sense of the world, no matter what our interpretation of that may be. Here, the Nottingham born creative writing facilitator, reads a couple of her autobiographical pieces from a substantial but varied collection. There will also be a workshop modelling how to begin your own mini memoirs. Perhaps you can use her title as a life mantra to promote well-being?
