Accessibility Information

We welcome all visitors. We have an accessible building with lift access on all floors. We have two disabled toilets, including a Changing Places toilet with a changing bed.
If you have access requirements and would like to discuss how we can support and ensure your visit is pleasurable, please do get in touch.
If you are a wheelchair user, we would like you to get in touch, as we have limited capacity and want to ensure we can accommodate.

Nottingham Contemporary is fully accessible for visitors with disabilities from the main entrance on Weekday Cross. The main gallery, small collections room and shop are all on street level with access to the Cafe.Bar.Contemporary and The Space available via an internal lift.

The Nottingham Contemporary is one of the best connected art centres in the country with links to all major transport routes. The gallery is next to the Lace Market Tram Stop, five minutes from Nottingham Rail Station and the Green NCT bus routes and is only a few minutes walk from the city centre and Broadmarsh Shopping Centre. It's one of the country's easiest galleries to get to. You can't miss the green and gold building opposite the Weekday Cross monument.
