Daisy Chapman is a talented pianist and singer-songwriter (or as she declares, 'sinner-songwriter') from Bristol, whose powerful and perceptive narrative songs have been described as 'an enchanting work between chanson and classic songwriting' (Rolling Stone).

Daisy combines an incredible voice with beautifully delivered 'Nymanesque' piano and is accompanied by exquisite digital looped harmonies and Sue Lord's dramatic and sweeping violin to create captivating and moving songs. Her well-crafted lyrics take their cue from the likes of Leonard Cohen and range from dark tales from the depths of history, to darkly comedic stories of lust, love and loss all performed with engaging confidence and preambled with stories of where the ideas came from. Her piano style, the songwriting skills and voice draw comparisons to Sandy Denny and Regina Spektor. 'This could be a female Ben Folds' declaimed Americana UK.

Playing live gigs since her university days in Bristol, Daisy formed several local bands and experimented with various music styles. By the time she had come to the end of her studies she already had written and recorded her first solo album. More albums followed, promoted by extensive touring across Europe, Poland, America and China, including festivals such as Glastonbury, Wychwood, 2000 Trees (UK) and Breminale (Germany). Daisy and Sue are no strangers to rural touring, having undertaken regular rural tours to churches, village halls and community clubs across Germany, Belgium, Holland and France. She has supported artists such as Howe Gelb (Giant Sand), Jenn Bostic and Jane Taylor, and her distinctive voice has been used for a variety of artist session work including four albums from UK prog-rockers Crippled Black Phoenix, with whom she toured as pianist and backing vocalist for five years. Sue Lord has played for The Heavy, Peter Gabriel and Public Service Broadcast to name but a few.
